Professional Experience

Lex Leifheit has a track record of strategic, inclusive leadership in economic development, nonprofit management, arts and culture. Below are highlights and results in various roles (please double-click to view). Currently, Lex is the Cultural Affairs Manager for the City of Oakland, supporting the cultural affairs team in an interim role and facilitating planning efforts. She is also an appointed member of California's Creative Economy Workgroup, which is tasked with delivering a strategic plan to state legislature by June 30, 2025.
