It's All A Blur was published by SOMArts Cultural Center to accompany a 2010 exhibition by the same name, which examined levels of empowerment and enfranchisement in the American West and the current status of the American dream. This full color book focuses on three artists, Guillermo Gómez-Peña, Dale Hoyt and Tony Labat, whose work embodies the hybrid cultural identities and political activism of Bay Area life and creative expression.
Leifheit served as publisher for this book, sourcing design and editing services, and wrote the foreward. Justin Hoover curated the exhibition and commissioned writing and photography for the publication.
The book and exhibition were supported by the Western State Arts Federation and the San Francisco Arts Commission.
